Once upon a time there lived a man enslaved
Not by man but by desire
With him the devil would play
Yeah he led him astray
This is how he lived every day
No amount of drugs
Could take the emptiness away
He turned to smoke
He turned to weed
He worshipped ego
And practiced greed
He loved himself and no one else
He loved his money and his wealth
To his kids - no love shown
To his wife - loyalty thrown
He fed his soul with vain talk and lies
He committed the acts that God despised
One day his son turned twenty five
He looked into his father's eyes
With a vape in a hand and a gun in another
He yelled "yo man I'm killing my brother"
The man went cold as the story goes
He didn't know how to act
Yet he was 50 years old
Re stuttered, he froze
Blood drippin from his nose
Pain in his chest and his head felt blown
He snapped back to reality, or so it seemed
He felt like he was dying but couldn't end the dream
In a second he looked back at the path he had taken
And realised that his family had been forsaken

We are the the new breed of the muslimeen
We kill our ego's before we search for enemies
Too often we see
The apple don't fall far from the tree
Creating a generation like zombies
Eating out of the pantry of dopamine
You're never too young and you're never too old
To rewrite your future and how the story unfolds

He woke up in an instant with his heart still pounding
Could not believe the kinda evil that he had encountered
Froze again and remembered he was only 18
Not a 50 year old man like he'd been in the dream
He screamed, touched by Gods mercy
He changed his path that day and turned to Surat almustakeem
He threw out his vape and smokes
And called over his bros
Told em everything he know
Showed them that they were wrong for all the evil they show
He told he told he has changed and that he's now a true believer
How he would do good deeds and build a better future
How he would kill is ego and try his best
To uphold the law of God and commit to betterment
He went on to explain everything with pure intent
How every action that you do has a consequence
How you can be a poison
Or you can follow the divine
How you need to Man up
Before you lose your damn mind
Cherish your time, and be an example for your peers
Open your eyes and listen with your ears
Lower your gaze when you walk in the streets
Even In private when your under bed sheets
Be humble when you speak man
Keep your spirit protected
Take a step towards Allah even if you get rejected
He said it he meant it
He was his own enemy
He woke up and realised who he wants be
How he wants to be
What he wants to be
And hes gonna achieve
True success and avoid the nightmare that he seen in his dreams

We are the the new breed of the muslimeen
We kill our ego's before we search for enemies
Too often we see
